Sarah-Faith Strait earned her M.F.A. in Studio Art at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. She also holds a B.F.A. from Ohio Wesleyan University with concentrations in painting, drawing, and printmaking. Strait received many awards and scholarships during her time of study – these include the Tara Savage Art Award, the competitive Three Arts Scholarship Graduate Candidate Award, and the Nancy F. Cady Scholarship Award.
Strait has exhibited nationally in both solo and group exhibitions, and her work is a part of many collections in the U.S. Most recently, her thesis work was exhibited at The Contemporary Arts Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. Strait’s work can be found in the collection of the Ohio Wesleyan University Department of Art, and the collection of art historian, author, and critic, Martica Sawin. Her work has also been newly acquired by Sara Vance Waddell, a prominent collector in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Originally from Mount Gilead, Ohio, Strait has made a home in Virginia, where she continues her studio practice.
